Serius Books?

Some of friends think I read serius stuff. Well, if you really read, then, you should be reading anything.  I took political science for my bachelor degree. It is hard to get away from the serius stuff  I guess.

     Today my serius stuff have arrived from Kinokuniya KL.

 

         There are The Fall and Rise of the Islamic State by Noah Feldman and The House of Wisdom How Arabic Science Ancient Knowledge and Gave Us the Renaissance by Jim Al-Khalil. These two are priced at RM61.50 and RM71.50 respectively.

         Living in Melaka means that the choice of books are very limited so I have to depend on online buying. MPH doesn't really have the ample selection of these kind of books. Thus, Kinokuniya will always the best to buy from. However, do expect slow delivery especially if the books you are looking for are not in store. And, kinokuniya only accept payment via credit card so, it is another demotivating reason to buy from them.

          Now, the reason why I purchased these two. Well, one day, while I was looking at my collection of biography books, I noticed that I hardly read on Islamic thinkings. Suddenly, I miss my time studying political science in IIUM. So, basically these two are for me to dwell on my root as Muslim. I hope i will.

         By the way, not forgetting my girls, I bought a doodle book for them. I simply wanted them to feel the joy of getting the books. You can also actually ask them to wrap and attach a note to the book free of charge. Which I did.
