Cekodok Ikan Bilis AKA Jemput2 Ikan Bilis


Flour is a must have item in my kitchen. Its so perfect for rainy day like today. So, this is my version of cekodok ikan bilis. I pair it up with a mug of hot Nescafe and some Maggi Chilli Sauce.

All you need are;
1. some flour
2. some anchovies
3. a tea spoon of chili paste
4. diced shallots
5. water
6. salt
7. oil to fry


Mix all well. To make it extra crunchy, before frying it, add little hot water into the batter. Some people also prefer to put some ice cubes. They imitate the Japanese way of making the tempura. After adding it all, use a tea spoon to scoop the batter into the heated oil.

There you have it. Perfect for tea during the rainy days... its cheap and can be easily prepared at home.
